01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

When you cannot decide between nigiri and chirashi, Hanato Sushi offers an easy answer with its popular Tsukasa combination. Arranged together on a single platter, colorful scattered sushi, nigiri pieces, and tuna rolls make for a satisfying lunch. A varied selection of toppings—such as tuna, boiled shrimp, and octopus—rests over seasoned sushi rice with a gentle, balanced flavor.

The menu ranges from accessible pre-packed selections to seafood nigiri platters of 8 pieces and special chirashi topped with salmon roe. Slender hosomaki rolls, including tuna, eel, and squid with shiso, can be ordered by the roll (1), making it simple to tailor a meal alongside a bowl of hot red miso soup. Seasonal specialties also feature throughout the year, such as whole mackerel sushi available by advance reservation from autumn to early spring, and crab chirashi during the winter months.

The friendly, easygoing rapport of the husband-and-wife owners sets a welcoming tone, allowing guests to relax comfortably even at the counter. In addition to dining in, takeout and local delivery are available, and free parking is provided for those arriving by car. Note that payment is cash only, so it is best to prepare yen before arriving.
